The £3 Hair Products That Are Worth Investing In

The £3 Hair Products That Are Worth Investing In

I have a confession and I think it’s about time I held up my hands and admitted it. Here it goes; I’m a beauty blogger who begrudges spending a fortune on haircare. I understand that your hair is your best accessory, as you wear it everyday and I know it’s important to look after your locks, but do you really need to splash the cash to do so? I think not.

Towards the end of last year I started investing more time and effort into my hair and the products I was using. In a bid to better my hair I thought I had to splash the cash and fork out on more luxurious brands, however, I just can’t bring myself to spend £20 plus on a shampoo. In fact, I refuse to. This is where Leo Bancroft comes in.

Leo Bancroft is an award-winning international celebrity hair stylist who has curated a signature styling range that allows you to create the best version of your hair from the comfort of your home. Want to know the best part? Each and every product is only £3. Yes, that’s right, £3!

Formulated using Moringa Oil, these salon-quality products work to protect your hair against urban pollutants, UV rays and direct heat, and promise to leave hair feeling nourished, strengthened and hydrated. To achieve salon-standard results, Leo Bancroft has created a simple three step routine; prep, refresh and finish. From this range I’ve tried the Body & Bounce Dry Shampoo, which is part of the refresh step, and the Strong Hold Hairspray, which is from the finish step.

I’ve tried a lot of dry shampoos, and this has to be the BEST dry shampoo I’ve ever tried. Firstly, it doesn’t leave any white residue on the hair and secondly, it’s weightless and gives hair an instant boost. The best part is my hair actually feels clean after I apply this. Normally, with dry shampoos my hair might look clean, but my scalp will still feel dirty/greasy. With this Body & Bounce Dry Shampoo my hair feels revitalised and my scalp refreshed. Thanks to Leo’s top tips, I’ve also learnt that you apply dry shampoo once the hair is styled, leave it for a couple of minutes to absorb the product and then simply brush out. The results are amazing.

Hairspray is a product that always lets me down, so I have to be honest I didn’t have high hopes for the Strong Hold Hairspray, however, for once in my life hairspray actually came through for me. Not only did this spray offer a long-lasting hold with flexible movement, but it also smoothed my pesky flyaways and kept my hair looking frizz-free and fabulous. Plus, it didn’t leave my hair hard, or crunchy, and brushes straight out.

I was so impressed with these products that I went to my local Tesco and purchased the Volume & Lift Root Volume, which is a part of the prep stage, and the Anti-Frizz Humidity Shield, which is a part from the finish stage. Just like the other products, these two have been amazing as well and are now firm favourites in my haircare/styling routine.

I’m so happy I’ve found affordable products that actually work. In addition to being salon quality, cruelty free and available in my local supermarket, they have left my hair looking and feeling its best. I’m so happy I came across this brand and found products that work for me. If you too hate spending a fortune on haircare, then you need to try Leo Bancroft because this brand is totally worth investing in!
