My skin has never looked better than it does right now. This is a sentence I thought I would never say. If you’re an avid reader of my blog, you’ll know that a £5 bundle of skincare left my skin in an utter mess. The products basically stripped my skin leaving it super oily with plenty of blemishes and breakouts. It took ages to balance itself out, and now I feel like my skin is finally back to looking and feeling its best. Two skincare products I feel have contributed to my smooth and glowing complexion are the Hydraluron Intense Moisture Lotion and the Q10 Booster from Indeed Labs.
I’m actually pretty familiar with the award-winning Canadian-based skincare company, Indeed Labs, because my mam is a HUGE fan. In fact, I’ve actually been buying these products for her for years, so it’s only right that after hearing such positive reviews I give them a go.
A best seller and a skincare staple (not to mention a firm favourite with my mam) is the Hydraluron Intense Moisture Lotion. This triple action hydration and protection lotion offers an advanced moisture complex formulated with a unique blend of high, medium and low molecular weights of hyaluronic acid and sodium hyaluronate. I’m a HUGE fan of hyaluronic acid, in fact the majority of my skincare products contain it. For those that don’t know, hyaluronic acid is sugar naturally found in the body that absorbs water like a sponge leaving skin fuller, plumper and glowing. So, it keeps your skin hydrated as well as prevents the signs of aging. In addition to this, the Hydraluron Intense Moisture Lotion protects the skin from environmental damage, promotes collagen formulation, boosts elasticity and restores the skin’s balance for a more youthful appearance.
I’ve been using this for a month now and the results have been amazing. Not only does my skin feel smooth and plump, but it has a gorgeous natural glow about it. My skin is so hydrated that I no longer have oily patches on my forehead and around my nose. It’s made such a difference to my skin that I’m no longer wearing full coverage foundations and find myself using more tinted moisturisers and BB creams.
Another product I’ve been using is the Q10 Booster, which is an anti-aging serum. This multifaceted concentrated serum uses a combination of ingredients such as Coenzyme Q10, Vitamin E and Vitamin C to enrich the skin, inhibit pigment production, even out skin tone and fight oxidative stress caused by pollution and UV damage. Plus, the Q10 booster also works towards a more youthful tone and texture by stimulating collagen and elastin, which minimises the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
I’ve been applying a few drops of this every morning and every night, and let me tell you a little goes a long way. The serum itself absorbs into the skin instantly and over the course of the using it my skin has become super smooth and plump. The area I’m most concerned about is the skin around my eyes, and I feel like that area has become so hydrated and smooth. I sometimes worry about by laughter lines, but since seeing the results of this serum I now I don’t even think about them.
I’ve absolutely loved trying these products and they’ve quickly become staples in my skincare routine. I wish I listened to my mam’s recommendations all them years ago and tried these sooner. Have you tried any products from Indeed Labs – if so, what did you think?
