At the moment (and over the last couple of months) I’ve been obsessed with creating a glowly and radiant-looking complexion. This has been a big change for me, as I’m usually a super matte kind of girl, but lately, I’ve been enjoying a more natural look with illuminating skin. When trying to achieve this look I realised that it all starts with your skin, which means good skincare. This is why I’ve been using the Vitamin C Serum from Skinkissed.

This serum promises to plump and hydrate dry and dull looking skin, help remove acne, reduce wrinkles, fine lines and blemishes and leave your skin looking and feeling younger. The combination of ingredients, which includes water, rose water, vitamin C, glycerine, hyaluronic acid, phenoxyethanol and marine collagen, is set expertly calm, repair, tighten and soothe sensitive, dry or mature skin while boosting radiance. Plus, it’s not tested on animals, which is always a winner.

Now, I’m not a novice when it comes to vitamin c products. If you caught my review on the haul I purchased from The Ordinary, you’ll remember that I didn’t get on with the Vitamin C cream. With that in mind, I was a little worried when trying this product, however, I found the serum from Skinkissed worked wonders.

After applying the serum every morning and night for a month I’ve found my skin does look illuminated. At the moment I’m actually really happy with the way my skin looks and feels. The serum, which doesn’t really have a scent, has left my skin looking healthier and feeling a lot smoother and softer. Even before I put any make-up on, I’ve noticed my skin does have a gorgeous natural glow about it, which shines though once I’ve applied a light layer of foundation.

I also found that this serum didn’t turn my hands orange, which is why I didn’t like the one from The Ordinary. I was more cautious when using this one so did wash my hands after my morning application, but found it didn’t dye them so I was very happy that ‘fake tan hands’ didn’t making a comeback!

Have you tried a vitamin c serum before? Do you love to glow?
