This month has been ridiculously busy, even though I’ve had two weeks off work I’ve been non-stop. I feel like a lot of things have happened this month that weren’t quite suppose to happen, but I guess everything happens for a reason, right? Here are my March favourites…
Ibiza Here We Come
I kept saying to myself that I wouldn’t book a holiday because I’m saving for a house, and what-do-you-know I went and bloody booked one! But in my defense, it was too cheap to say no. I’m so excited, having visited Ibiza last year for my friend’s hen do I’m dying to get back there and experience the place for a whole week. I’m stopping in an adult’s only hotel (the roof has a fricking pool) in San Antonio, so if you have any recommendations for food and drinks please let me know!
Growing Up And Fast
So remember last month when I said I’ve given up on the house hunting? Well I kind of started looking again and found the perfect house by accident, and now I’m totally freaking out. In the space of a week, I’ve gone from finding my dream house to having meetings with mortgage advisors and opening joint accounts, I feel like such an adult. A lot of things are currently in process and I know a lot can go wrong, so I’ll keep you all updated where I can.
I thought I was getting lucky with one holiday this year, but no, I’m going on two. Belle Bridal is going to Barcelona! I know, I have the best boss ever. I know this is a work trip, but I’ve never been to Barcelona before and I’m so excited. The team and I are going to have so much fun; catwalk shows, sight-seeing, shopping and eating too much food – sounds perfect! Again, if you have any recommendations for food and drinks, please let me know.
I recently visited Alnwick Gardens and it’s absolutely beautiful. We’re so lucky to have such gorgeous places like this in the North East. From the Poison Garden to the fountains, and even the treehouse restaurant, there’s so many things to see and do. I’m hoping to go back next month to explore the rest of the grounds. If you’re looking for a full day out and the sun is shining, I would recommend you visit these glorious gardens.
Run, Forest, Run!
Ps, I also smashed my 5K this month. I know I did it last month, but it was great to do it with other runners, both professionals and novices, and even an olympic runner! I’m so excited – bring on the 10K!
What have you been up to this month?
