Everytime I sit down to write my highlights, I’ve got so much to tell you all that I’m stuck for choice. This year has certainly started with a bang and it shows no signs of slowing down yet! I’m really enjoying writing these diary-style posts and I hope you like them too. Here’s my April highlights 2017 (remember, share yours with me too!)…
Belle Bridal In Barcelona
What can I say, this work holiday was absolutely incredible. Not only did the city blow me away, but it was amazing to experience the whole thing with the Belle Bridal team and my close friends. From fashion shoots to catwalk shows, it was amazing from start to finish. I loved it, and I feel extremely lucky to be able to work for a fantastic company that allows me to have these incredible opportunities. I can’t wait for all the North East and Yorkshire brides to see the next issue – it’s going to be WOW.
Get My Running Shoes
The Sunderland 10K is fast approaching (one more week to go) and this month I’ve been working with the Bridges, who are sponsoring the event, to promote the bullet videos. All runners who are taking part in the race get to create one of these super cool videos, so they have something unique to keep and to remember the whole experience. If you haven’t seen them yet, head over to my Instagram and take a look at some of the ones I made with Sam, Anji and Katie. They really are a laugh to create and it only takes a matter of minutes. These cameras will be inside the Bridges on the day of the race so make sure you head there and create your free video with all your friends and family!
The Big Bridal Bash
Remember a few months ago when I announced that I was a chief bridesmaid? Well the wedding date has been set, which means it’s onto the important stuff – the hen do! = I’ve decided my friend and bride-to-be is getting three hen dos (if you can’t spoil your friend when she’s getting married when can you?) and I can’t wait to get planning. Her soon to be husband has organised his stag on https://stagmadness.com/ so I need to get planning what I’m going to do for her! Obviously I can’t tell you all my plans just yet, as the bride-to-be reads my blog, but all will be revealed soon. If you have any recommendations, tips, advice or cool games to play, please let me know!
To most of you all it may seem silly adding date night to my highlights, however, date nights went out of the window while we were saving for a house. Now that it’s actually happened Corey and I went for our first date night out in what felt like forever. And it was perfect – toppling burgers and pints and pints of strawberry beer, it was just what we needed. What’s your favourite kind of date night?
All Grown Up
Talking of houses we now have a rough move in date. Hopefully the next time I sit down and write my highlights it’ll be from the comfort of my own living room! It still hasn’t quite sunk in yet, I’m actually an adult now – argh! At the moment I feel like I should be feeling alot older; I have a house, mortgage, professional career, and I still feel like I’m 18! Is this normal?
What have you been upto this month? Please share your highlights with me!
