Can you believe it’s March already?! This year is flying over crazy fast. February maybe short and sweet, but there’s been loads of exciting things taking place and I wanted to share them all with you. So, here’s my February highlights…
I’m A Chief Bridesmaid!
Yes, I can’t believe it! My friends Christie and Craig got engaged last year and since they haven’t booked a venue or anything yet I didn’t think Christie was even thinking about bridesmaids. And to be honest I never thought she’d even ask me. I’ve never been a bridesmaid before, nevermind a chief bridesmaid so I was a little bit of an emotional wreck when she asked. I totally wasn’t expecting it, but I’m so excited! Bring on the hen do!
We’ve finally started looking at houses! It feels like we’ve been saving for years, but we finally had our first house viewing at the beginning of the month. The house was lovely, but just not for us. I know it’s going to take us a while to find our dream house, but I want to view as many as I can so we know exactly what we want and what we don’t. If you have any tips/advice on what we should ask/look for, please let me know!
Abi and I took a little trip to Leeds to see Drake and it was AMAZING. I’m not the biggest Drake fan (Abi is), but I have to give credit where credit is due – he puts on an epic performance. I love how much he interacted with the crowd and from what he was saying he has a genuine love for us in the UK. We then hit the town and in the morning soaked up a hangover with a HUGE Five Guys. Music, tipples and food, this night away was just what I needed.
Sunderland 10K Challenge
This month I successfully ran 5K and I was so proud of myself. I know last month I talked about pushing myself and doing the Sunderland 10K. Well this month I finally signed up, so it’s official. I’m really excited to push myself, as I’ve never ran like this before. I know the race is in May and a long way off, but I’m already thinking of doing the Great North Run too. Is anyone else doing the Sunderland 10K?
Adult Sleepover At The Hancock
This event doesn’t take place until March, but just to be asked to attend an adults sleepover in a museum is pretty exciting stuff. Bedding down underneath a T-Rex, partying among the exhibitions, not to mention playing games and meeting new people. I’m so excited, I have no idea what to expect, I mean, have you slept in a museum before? I best get my onesie ready!
What have you been upto this month? Are there any highlights you’re wanting to share?
