They say time flies when you’re having fun, and for me, this month has been absolutely incredible! This month has been filled with exciting opportunities, birthday celebrations and some serious girly time, and I’m grateful for the lot. So, here’s my November highlights…
Happy 2nd Birthday!
The month kick-started with my blog turning two. I can remember the day I set the whole thing up wondering where I would be in two, three, five years time, and you know what? I’m proud of my little space on the internet. It might have taken me two years but I feel like I’m finally at a place where I’m comfortable and confident in my content, and I can’t wait to create even better posts in 2017. To say thank you to all my fabulous readers I’ve got a little beauty giveaway running on my blog.
Chatty Lasses Debut
When an invitation to be on Chatty Lasses landed in my inbox I couldn’t quite believe it. For those of you who don’t know, Chatty Lasses is a TV series on Made In Tyne And Wear that’s hosted by Katie Bulmer. It’s a huge programme in the North a East that focuses on opinion, debate and loads of girly gossip, and I couldn’t believe they wanted little me on there! Although I was extremely nervous it was such a good laugh, and I’m so grateful I had the opportunity to be apart of something local. If you want to see me wave to the wrong camera and try to control my Mackem accent, I’ll be making my TV debut on Tuesday 11th January 2017.
Coast’s First Concept Store
What do you get when you fill a changing room with a load of bloggers? The best shopping experience ever! This was the first Metro Centre event I’ve ever been invited to and I was so grateful because I felt like a celebrity. From the delicious breakfast spread to the glamorous clothes I got to try on with friends, and let’s not forget the generous goodie bag, it was just absolutely incredible.
I like to get all of my Christmas shopping done in November, so that I can spend December stuffing my face, drinking plenty of tipples and curling up in my onesie. This year I kick-started the big shop while in York with my Mam and sister. Although our train was delayed and we missed the Christmas markets by a day, it was lovely just having some girly time together especially since my sister has now moved out of the family home. I’ve now completed my shopping and I’m all ready to just wrap it.
Belated Birthday Trips
So technically this is happening in the beginning of December, but I’m only a few days out so in my head it stills counts. Anyways I’m off to Edinburgh this weekend as a belated birthday present from my boyfriend and I’m so excited to get away and have a break. Since we’re saving for a house we haven’t been on holiday this year, so just to get a away for a few days in the beautiful city of Edinburgh is going to be incredible. I can’t wait to see the festive markets, and since I’ve bought all my Christmas presents, treat myself!
What did you get up to in November? What were your highlights of the month?
