JUMPER H&M | JEANS New Look | BOOTS Public Desire |
NECKLACE Pretty Twisted | BAG Lulu Guinness | COAT H&M | MAKE-UP KIKO
I think it’s safe to say winter is officially here, and I don’t know about you but I’m rather excited about transitioning into my A/W wardrobe.
Now’s the perfect time to wrap up warm in chunky knits. This one is just a basic cream jumper from H&M, which I’ve layered with a white Primark vest. One thing I love pairing with jumpers are statement necklaces, I just think it adds effortless detail to an outfit without actually trying.
And what’s an outfit without denim jeans? These are a staple in my wardrobe all year round. To be honest I’m desperate for some more, so if anyone has any recommendations please let me know, as I always struggle to find jeans that fit me well.
Another staple in my A/W wardrobe are boots and these are currently my favourite pair. They’re from Public Desire and were an absolute steal at £14.99. I begrudge paying a fortune for shoes, as if they get ruined that’s it, however, I’m not going to cry if these only last the winter. I swear by Public Desire shoes – they’re affordable, great-quality and incredibly stylish. They always have lovely detailing too like these tassels.
Now, I don’t think it’s cold enough quite yet for my leather jacket, which acts like a second skin in winter, so I’m making the most of my H&M MAC coat.
The finishing touch is make-up. In winter I love thick, winged liner and berry lips, however, after visiting KIKO, in the Bridges, I’ve learnt that it’s all about experimenting with eye colour.
Paul, KIKO’s UK make-up trainer, created the most gorgeous smoky eye using browns, golds and oranges. Now, I would normally stay away from orange, as it matches my hair, however, I loved the end results. This make-up look totally got me in the autumnal spirit!
What are your autumn wardrobe staples? Do you change your make-up look during the winter?
