Now, I’ve used a blusher from Natural Collection before and I really liked it. Even though it was a cream and not a powder, it was the exact same shade as my MAC Peach Melba blusher. So when it came to choosing more products, I was rather intrigued and for £1.99 can you really go wrong?
I picked up the tinted moisturiser, an eyeshadow in the shade Asteroid, Lash Definition mascara, a cover up stick, a lipstick in the shade Sandcastle, a liquid eyeliner and a highlighter in the shade Coral Glow. I can’t believe I got all this for less than £14, and thanks to Megan I received an extra cheeky 10 per cent off!
For those of you who know me, I’m totally not a tinted moisturiser sorta girl, but I picked this up and it wasn’t terrible, in fact, I actually liked it! I think for those days where I can’t be bothered with a full face or my skin is having a rather good day, this is the product to use. I’ve written a full review about this moisturiser, so if you’re interested please check it out.
At first I picked up a light brown eyeshadow shade, however, after trying the tester it simply wasn’t pigmented enough for me. Since trying the shade Asteroid (a dark brown shade), I have to say it’s rather impressed me. It’s a lovely warm brown colour that easily blends and is buildable. It’s slightly lighter than what I expected it to be, so I use this all over my eye for a natural look during the day and as a base colour for a full eye look.
The eyeliner is very long-lasting and it doesn’t smudge. The tip is very fine, which is fabulous for creating that perfect wing. It is a little streaky, so requires a couple of coats, however, once it’s on it’s fast-drying and super black.
Personally, the cover stick was a bit of a let down. First of all it broke the moment I twisted it up and to be honest it didn’t really give a lot of coverage underneath my eye area. I think if you want to cover spots then it’s great, but highlighting, not so much.
I absolutely love the colour of this lipstick. It’s a nude, pink colour with a glossy finish. For me it’s a perfect everyday lipstick, however, it’s not long-lasting so I do need to top it up quite regularly, but for £1.99 I seriously can’t complain!
I love the colour of this highlighter, however, I wasn’t sure what to do it with. I’m so use to silver, white highlighters and with this one being coral it kind of blended into my blusher rather than standing out. I think in the future instead of dabbing this above my cheekbones, I’ll use it as a blusher instead.
To me a mascara is a mascara, as long as it’s super black and the brush separates my lashes it’s all good, and this one ticks all the right boxes. If you like a natural-looking lash then I would recommend this, but if you like full, thick lashes I would either try building this one up or try another from the range.
I really wanted to try the eyebrow duo kit too, but it was completely sold out! Have you used any of the Natural Collection products before? What do you think of them? Is there a product you would recommend?
