CULOTTES Primark / TOP Primark / SHOES JD Sports / BAG Vintage / WATCH Michael Kors

When it comes to fast fashion I usually stay clear, because I feel like I never suit it. I’ve been like this for years. I go shopping, take loads of current pieces into the changing rooms, which results in me storming out in a mood with myself because I feel like I look stupid in everything.

I’m trying to break this habit and force myself to try more clothes that I normally wouldn’t look twice at. I mean, I can’t live the rest of my life in jeans – can I?

With this in mind I picked up some navy culottes from Primark and paired them with a sleeveless, polo neck, striped top from Primark too. Although I feel like they totally don’t suit me, these culottes are super comfortable. They are really light, so are ideal for the summer and can be dressed up or down.

As you can see, I decided to dress them down with a pair of white leather converse and a vintage blue bag that I’ve had since forever. I also decided to give top knots a go, and as you can see that was a total fail. I promise my hair isn’t this messy, it was really windy in the marina.

What do you think of culottes? Would you style this outfit differently? What do you think of the top knot?

Is collettes a new name for them? Or is it a typo? I always thought it was cullottes? Tried to private message you but it wouldn’t let me. Regardless they are very comfy and those look really cute on you!
