Younique needs no introduction. Unless you’ve been living under a rock, everyone has either heard of the brand or the products. Younique landed on the beauty scene some time ago, which resulted in a huge hype surrounding its 3D Fiber Lashes.
If you know me, you’ll know I’m always late to the party and this time is no different, but finally after months, if not years, I’ve given the Younique Moodstruck 3D Fiber Lashes* mascara a go.
Younique’s mission is to uplift, empower, validate and ultimately build self-esteem in women. One beauty product that never fails to give me confidence is mascara. I can walk around all day with a bare face, but as long as I have a few coats of mascara on I’m good to go!
The Younique mascara is set to increase your lash volume by 400% – now that’s some serious volume gurl!
The mascara works in two ways, firstly you need to coat your eyelashes in the transparent gel and then immediately apply the 3D fiber lashes. You then need to seal the lashes in place by putting on another coat of transparent gel – it’s very simple.
The beauty of this product is you can repeat this application process until you’ve reached your desired length. After just one coat I noticed my lashes were longer and definitely more volumised. If I was getting ready for a night on the town I would have applied another coat, but y’know I was only heading to work.
I can understand why there’s such a hype surrounding this product because it actually does work. I honestly thought the 3D fiber lashes were going to be very messy, but since they cling to the transparent gel and then the second coat seals them in, they’re all neat and tidy.
They’re like personalised false lashes that require no glue or precision. I have naturally long lashes but when I have just a few coats of normal mascara they appear quite thin, whereas with the 3D fiber lash mascara my lashes looked thicker, longer and just had more of a wow-factor.
It wasn’t just me that noticed, I actually received two compliments during the day about my eyelashes – one from a randomer at the gym and another from a colleague at work!
If you have short, stubby eyelashes or have no clue when it comes applying falsies, then I would highly recommend you give this product a go. Have you tried the 3D Fiber Lash mascara before?
