Make-Up Revolution, What You Waiting For?

Make-Up Revolution, What You Waiting For?

I’ve been a fan of Make-Up Revolution ever since it launched in Superdrug, so many moons ago. I have to admit, like I’m sure many of you, I had my misconceptions about this brand at first. However, from the moment I applied that shimmery, white highlighter I was absolutely blown away by it.

For those of you who don’t know, Make-Up Revolution is an extremely affordable make-up range that offers high-quality products that are extremely pigmented in colour. In fact, I completely forget how good quality these products are until my sister bought me four palettes and a selection of make-up brushes for Christmas.

If you love a mixture of bronze and brown hues, then the What You Waiting For? palette is right up your street. Usually I’m not one for shimmery shades, but as soon as I opened this palette I fell in love with the colours. It also has a selection of matte shades that I think are great base eyeshadows.

Although it comes with a double-ended brush, I found it easier to apply the eyeshadows with a large, fluffy eyeshadow brush. There’s one thing I always forget when I dip my brush into these eyeshadows and it’s that they’re so pigmented! I can’t tell you how many times I’ve had to blend and blend because I’ve put too much on my brush.

Don’t get me wrong, it’s not a bad thing! It’s amazing how pigmented these eyeshadows are for how little the price tag is. Just be careful how much to put on the brush because these shadows pack a lot!

They’re definitely the kind of eyeshadows you could wear during the day and for a night out. My favourite shades at the moment are Shut My Eyes, Stupid H…, Moving Car and Do It Alone.

Have you tried Make-Up Revolution before? What are your favourite products? Have you tried this palette?

You wouldn’t think for the price that they’d be so highly pigmented – I’ll have to give this or another Makeup Revolution palette a go!

Honestly Lucy they’re so worth it and they have such a wide range of palettes, so you’ll find one to suit you. Let me know which one you get! xxx
