Beauty | My Favourite Mascaras

Even though I wear mascara every single day, it’s not something I constantly buy; lipsticks – yes, foundation – yes, but mascara – no. I usually have one black beauty that I’ll use until it’s dry and crispy then go out and replace it. I’m not sure why, but not even a classic Boots 3 for 2 can persuade me to purchase some new wands. So, you can imagine my surprise when I realised I had not one, not two, but six mascaras in my beauty draw. Now that I have a collection to choose from, I thought I would share my favourites with you…

Benefit Roller Lash // This is definitely one of my favourite mascaras.  From the quirky packaging to the curl brush, I love everything about this mascara. I usually hate curled brushes, but this is the only one I’m able to use. For me it’s usually all about the separation, but this mascara uplifts, curls, and separates – it’s a great all-in-one!

L’Oreal Telescopic Extra Black // I’ve been dying to try this mascara ever since I first started watching Carli Bybel’s YouTube videos. My sister, who knows me far too well, bought me the Telescopic mascara in extreme black for my birthday. I absolutely love how black it makes my lashes appear. The only problem I would say is that the mascara is very wet, if that makes sense, so I always have to check underneath my eyes for little dots before I leave the house, but the results are totally worth it.

Rimmel Glam Eyes // I picked this little beauty up from the make-up outlet in Dalton Park. To me Rimmel is a safe brand to go with, as its products are always reliable and do exactly what they say. To be honest I wasn’t expecting to love this as much as I do, but the brush is just perfect for separating my lashes.

Benefit They’re Real Mascara // This is another favourite from Benefit, I honestly can’t decide if I’m a Roller Lash or They’re Real kinda gal. I find myself constantly swapping between them. I love this one because the bristles are so small they get right to the root of my lashes, so they’re completely covered.

What are your favourite mascaras? Do you have any recommendations?
