I can never resist a Boots 3 for 2. So, as well as stocking up on my favourite items, I always find it’s a good excuse to try out some new products. This time a few Maybelline items landed in my basket…

Master Sculpt by Mollie // I’m obsessed with trying to prefect my contouring skills and when I saw that Mollie from The Saturdays launched a new contour kit with Maybelline, I knew I had to test it out. On my first application, I was a little disappointed with the product. However, the more I use it, the more I really like this compact. It’s light, easily buildable and I think the highlighter is a lovely creamy texture that you can dab on with your finger.

FIT Me Foundation // I’m always looking for a high street foundation, but I’ve never found a one that’s been an exact colour match, or gives great coverage. I decide to pick up the FIT Me foundation after one of my favourite Youtubers swore by it. But, unfortunately for me even though I bought the lightest shade, it was still too dark for my skin, which is a shame because the coverage lasted all day.

FIT Me Concealer // Once again I bought the lightest shade, but unfortunately the concealer had a lot of yellow undertones. So, when I applied it under my eyes instead of highlighting, I kinda looked like a Simpson.

Has anyone else tried these products? What are your thoughts?

Love the look of the contour kit!
It’s a shame about the concealer and foundation!

I have been wanting to try out the Fit Me foundation for ages; however, whenever I want to buy a new foundation I always get concerned that the coverage wont last. I hope I find a good shade for me, I really want to like it!

Honestly the coverage was great, but the lightest shade just wasn’t light enough for me – such a shame! :(

I was actually going to buy that concealer so I’m glad I read this! I can never find drugstore shades that are light enough for my skin!!

I’m glad I helped! The only drugstore concealer I’ve found that works in the Collection 2000 one!
