Review | Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Facial Range

IMG_0165

One product I’m forever buying is Palmer’s Cocoa Butter lotion. I’ve been using these body lotions for years; I love the smell, I love the texture and I love the feeling of my skin after using them.

Since using the body lotions, Palmer’s facial range has always been on my list of products to try. And now that I’ve finally finished my last tub of face cream I ordered myself Palmer’s daily facial lotion, the line smoothing eye cream and the night renewal cream.

I’ve been using these products just over two weeks now and so far I’ve got nothing but good things to say. Here are my thoughts…

Daily Facial Lotion //

On first impressions, I was pleasantly surprised that the daily facial lotion had an SPF factor in it. I’m not sure if other day creams I’ve tried have, however with me having fair skin this was definitely a plus.

The cream has quite a thick consistency, however it only takes a matter of minutes before the lotion completely soaks into my skin. I’ve also found it makes a great base for my foundation.

Night Renewal Cream //

The only thing I was worried about when trying the night cream was that it has a very thick consistency, even thicker than the daily cream, and I didn’t know if my skin would fully absorb it, causing it to leave a greasy residue. Thankfully, just like the daily facial cream it soaked into my skin within minutes.

Since using this I’ve noticed my skin is incredibly soft, like so soft, sometimes I can’t stop stroking my cheeks before putting my make up on!

Line Smoothing Eye Cream //

I’m only 23, but I’m obsessed about anti ageing creams and preventing crows feet and all that. I haven’t got great, big cracks around my eyes, but I’ve noticed them and frankly it’s starting to freak me out.

Now, I usually use serums around my eyes, but I’ve found this cream is working wonders. My crows feet appear less visible and the skin around my eyes feels nice and tight too, let’s hope it stays that way for as long as possible.

All three products have Palmer’s iconic coco smell, however it’s not as strong as the scent of the lotions; it’s quite a refreshing, subtle chocolate/coco smell, which I personally love.

Since trying these products I’ve now got my eyes on Palmer’s facial cleanser, facial scrub, and maybe Palmer’s facial oil too.

If any of you have tried these products please share with me your thoughts!
