Let’s face it we all love carbs, whether it’s a cheese covered pizza or a slice of white bread, toasted and smoothed in butter, but unfortunately for me, carbs and I aren’t the best of friends.
Even just looking at a piece of bread can make me bloat and I’m sure you’ll all agree it’s really hard to unbloat yourself.
Over the years I’ve tried diets, detoxs, fitness programmes, juice cleaners and various teatoxs and other than the Clean 9 I did a few months ago, teatoxs work the best and are the easiest to incorporate into my diet and lifestyle.
Teatoxs are a natural detox tea programme, and drank alongside a healthy diet and regular exercise is suppose to help you lose a few pounds and feel better overall.
In the past I’ve tried a few different teatoxs and although they work, I found some were really harsh on my stomach. In fact, a few brands I’ve tried caused such bad stomach cramps the pain would actually wake me up most mornings.
I’d gone off them until I noticed a lot of people on my Instagram feed were trying Fruiteatox and after getting a discount code, I thought I’d give them a go.
I opted for the 14 day teatox, this includes 14 revitalising lemon teabags, which you drink every morning and seven sleeptox orange teabags, which you drink every other evening. So, here are my thoughts…
These fruity teabags have to be the nicest I’ve never tasted. With ones I’ve tried in the past they have a unique taste that takes a few days to get used to. The morning lemon teabags were definitely my favourite and after the detox I kept this up by putting wedges of lemon in hot water for my morning cuppa.
After the two weeks I felt and looked completely de-bloated; my tummy was finally flat! I felt amazing. I’m not sure how much I lost because I try and not use the scales, but I did lose two inches off my waist and hips. After these results I would definitely buy Fruiteatox again.
The only bad thing about this teatox was it dried my skin out. One of its many benefits is it clears up break outs, which is great if you suffer with spots, but for me, who hardly gets any it really dried my skin out. But between trying to cover up big, red zits and exfoliating a little more, I know which one I would prefer.
Has anyone else tried this teatox? Please share your thoughts!
